Summer Learning Journey

Hi Emma, I am Paige. Today we signed up for the Summer Learning Journey. The Summer Learning Journey is a program that runs through the Christmas holidays. You have to do blog posts to keep up with your learning.

Something that interests me about the Summer Learning Journey is the Shakespeare one. I like that one because Shakespeare interests me a lot. I am also looking forward to doing the Experiments and gadgets. I really like doing experiments because I like to do risky things.

I hope I will achieve at least 5 blogposts in the Christmas holidays. I hope I will achieve it so I can get a prize. I might not be able to do all of the tasks for the Summer Learning Journey, but I will try as I am going on holiday twice. Whenever I have time I will do a blogpost. I was wondering how long have you been working for the Summer Learning Journey?

  1. Kia ora Paige!

My name is Mikey and I work with Emma in the Uru Manuka Summer Learning Journey team. I'll be commenting on some of your wonderful blog posts over the summer break.

I'm so pleased that you've registered for the programme. I really like how you've set yourself a blogging goal as well. That's such a good idea. Sometimes I do that for my blog commenting - I try and reach a certain number of comments in a day. It's a good way to stay on task and keep motivated, isn't it?

I'm sure Emma's told you but don't forget that the programme officially starts on Monday (December 16th) so make sure you jump online then and check out the activities. In the meantime, have a go at some of the teaser week tasks.

    Bye for now,

    Mikey :)
