Today I make a Snow-Flake it was hard cutting it out because  we had to cut and it is hard cutting on a device. This my last one I think it is pretty cool. How about you have a try.

Today we made a symmetrical picture.  I picked reflection (6 lines) the other choices were reflection (3 lines),reflection (6 fold) and reflection (3 fold).I clicked random colors ans then put them anywhere and it turned out like this. It only took me about a minute to make this. How about you have a try.

calendar Art

For calendar art I did a butterfly because I like butterfly's.

We had to make a prototype of our wing and the people that are doing it could do any type of wings so I did butterfly wings. Then we had to paint. After that we cut out the shape or your wings on the paint when it dried and that was the hardest bit because it is hard to get the right shape.

1. Lorde is 19 she was born in 1996 her birthday is 7 November!

3. In may 2009 Lorde and musician friend Louis McDonald won the Belmont Intermediate school annual  talent show as a buo!

Panda Pillow

In Inquiry I have been making a panda pillow. My mum cut out the shapes and I sewed it. There was a lot of steps for me because I had to learn to sew and I had to get all the stuff I needed and I did not have anything.

Chuck The Chicken Kiwi Can

This is my recount of Kiwi Can and I think I have finished but if you see any mistakes please right a comment and give me feedback.

I love Kiwi Can. When we went to Kiwi Can on Monday Mrs McGuinniety Inquiry group went to Kiwi Can in the hall. We played a game called chuck the chicken (but the chicken was a cow) with Nathan and Katie. Katie split us up into two groups and one of the groups went to the front of the hall and the other group stayed on the carpet.

Katie gave the cow to one of the people in the group that was throwing the cow to us and they passed it to the next person and when Nathan said chuck the chicken the person that was holding the cow had to throw it to the people that had to catch it. When we had to get into a line and then if we got into a line before the person from the other team ran around the circle we would win.

Then we changed groups so my group went and sat in a circle on the carpet and the other group were the catchers when we were passing the cow around. Katie changed the rules they were that when we catch the cow and get into a line we pass it to the next person in line and pass it to them from under our leg and over our heads. The people that are sitting down when they throw the cow they run around  the circle and when they get back the their seat they tag the other person and they run around and then they tag the other person and keep on going until they get to the person that started.

I love Kiwi Can because we play lots of enjoyable games. Nathan and Katie are very friendly. I hope we play it again because it made everyone laugh.

Who will I choose!If I had to choose a partner to be on the front of the bike in the Paralympics I would choose my step dad Nick and he inspires me because he did biking a lot he went around the block and he tort me how to bike. 

Entertaining the crowd

Imagine that you are sitting in the crowd at the opening ceremonies for the Rio Olympics this August. The ceremony has just started and all of the Olympic athletes are parading around the stadium in their uniforms when all of a sudden…

The lights went off and when the turned back on no one was there. Then they all came out and there was a lot of firework and it was so loud I could not hear my mum talk. Then they all came out and they scared my mum my sister and I. When they were in the middle of the grass they were lined up in country's. Then this man came up and talk and I had no idea who it was. When I looked at them they had big smiles and they did not stop. Then the man that was talking when off and all the Olympics athletes went out in a big line. then there was more fireworks. Then there was another man that was talking about the Olympics. Then he went off and there was a lot of music.

If I could choose who would be in the Olympics I would choose Lorde because I think she could sing in front of everybody and I think she is a good role model. I think she would be good to sing in the Olympics because she could entertain people.

Paige's and Phoebe's Maths

Question 1

Marama is planning her birthday party.

She is inviting 11 friends so there will be 12 people at the party.

How many 1.5 liter soft drinks will she need if they have one drink each?

Paige’s Idea

I thought that it would be 4 cups at first but when I looked at the cups I thought it would be 5. Then Mrs Raisin measured the cups then it was 180.

Phoebe’s Idea

I thought that the answer would be 7 in my head so when did a vote. To do the vote we covered our eyes with one hand and waited for Mrs. R to say the number that we had thought of in our head. Then we measured one 1 cup with the 1..5 liter soft drink.. After tha we saw how much it had gone down so we thought in our head a different number up to twelve and Paige and I thought the amount of cups would be 4.

Digi Awards Blurb

Talia and Paige did every second slide so what Talia didn't do Paige would do and then we went through all the slides together and fixed any mistakes we found. Then we  worked together on the slides when we got passed 100.

Talia learned how it is really easy to do over 100 slides in a couple of days but before we started Talia thought it was nearly  impossible to do 100 slides.

Paige learned how easy it’s doing the slide show and Paige has never got passed 100 slides before and that was a goal for her to reach.

Maths

In maths I have been learning about a little bit more a little bit less.

Chasing colored Balls

In the episode Tom and Vinicius were chasing balls. I think they were going for a walk to meet up but then they got distracted and saw colored balls so they chased them. Then they went up a big hill then when it got up to the top they combined together then Tom and Vinicius bumped into each other then they became friends.

Time to go to Kiwi Can

Today we went to Kiwi Can and our leaders are Riki and Katie.

When we get there Riki asks us what did we do in the weekend.

At Kiwi Can we do an energizer. It was a game. Then we did GKQS which are when a row  of four goes and stands up in front of everyone and Riki and Katie ask us questions. We do an action and we have to answer them.

Then we do an energizer which is a game that was called Dinoball. You have to attach your elbows to your hips and someone throws you the ball and you have to catch it. If you don’t catch it you sit down and throw it to another person. I really like that game.

After that we did another game. We had to go up to Riki and look at the person on the screen. We had to go to the stage if we thought that the person is a good role model and go to the middle of the hall that means that you don't know how they are and if you went to the end of the hall you don't think that they are a good role model.

Then we did GKQS and I went up but I didn’t get it right. Then we did points and we got 15 ½ points.

I liked the game Dinoball and I learned a lot from the game good Role Models.

Be There

We have new values and be there is one of them and we made a poster. Be there is when someone hurts and kid and another person came and made the mean person stop. 

Pastel Art Work

We got a piece of paper and we did art. We draw the sun, the land and the sea. We used warm colours, which are red,yellow and orange. The cold colours are blue and green. The green bit is the land and the blue the sea.W e had to use light pencil then when we finished the pencil we used a vivid and went over it. Then we used pastel a smudged it. It really hurt when you smudged it.
