3g4g Trip

On Tuesday the 12th of May ⅞ Bh,Sh,Ts and Tz went
to the fo guang Shan Buddhist temple in riccarton.
When we got there we got split into two groups. In group one
it was ⅞ Sh and Ts. I was in group two with Bh. My group went
to make flowers first. We could choose any colour we wanted our
flower I made a pink one. After we made the flowers we sat down and watched a
video about being kind and spreading the kindness throughout everyone. Then
we went outside to get water tattoos on our hands. After that we went for a tour
around the temple. When we got upstairs we stopped and the guy talked to us
about the never ending hallway. Then we went into the library and he talked
to us about the books. Then we went back downstairs and meet up with group
two and lined up to get two cookies and a cup of water. We sat down to eat our
cookies and drink our water for about 10 minutes. Then we went upstairs, when
we got upstairs we went into a big room. The guy told us to sit down in our groups.
First we got asked if we wanted to bath the budish. Only a few people wanted to
do it. He taught us how to meditate. I found it really fun because I have never
meditated before. Then we got a bell that we had to blow at the end.
Then we left.

How To Play Bench Ball

How to play bench ball
2 teams 5 or 6 players.
You need a bench at each end of the court and one ball.
One person from each team ha stop be on the bench while their team has to throw the ball to each other and then throw it to the person standing on the bench. The person that throw the ball goes up on the bench as well only if the person standing on the bench catches it. The first team to get all of their team members on the bench wins. How to play Ki o Rahi

Ki o Rahi- How to Play:
2 teams with 8 players.
The teams are called Taniwha and Kioma.
You make a big circle with poles then a smaller one with cones and another smaller one with
cones then a Tupu in the smaller circle. Tupu is a barrel in the middle of the field.
Kioma has 2 or less players guarding the Tupu while Taniwha tries to throw the ball at Tupu.
Kioma has to try and hit the ball when Taniwha tries to score. Kioma has to run around to each flag
and then run to the Tupu and place it down in the circle Tupu is in. If kioma has the ball taniwha has
to try and tag them 2 times by 2 different people and the same for taniwha.

In each slide we had to write about each decade since the 1900s to now. We had to pick a song for that decade and write what it was about and what the most popular genres were.

Maths-Graphs

The past few weeks we have been doing maths with Mrs Hastie. In maths we have been doing statistics. We make a table then put different types of vehicles in it then go out to the road and count how many different vehicles we see. Last week I made another graph but I can't upload it today.
