Home Chemistry

Today we had science and we learned about home chemistry and I made a DLO about it. We also put vinegar and baking soda together and I put 5 words that explain it at the bottom of the post.

Aim:  Looking at 10 household chemicals.

  1. Salt                          Sodium Chloride                                             
  2. LD Surf                    Sodium Carbonate
  3. White vinegar          Acetic Acid
  4. Baking soda            Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate
  5. Baking powder       Sodium Bicarbonate
  6. Cleaner                    Sodium Carbonate
  7. Detergent               Chemical Formula
  8. Lemonade               cellulose
  9. Sugar                      Hydroxymethyl
  10. Citric acid            Hydroxypropane


Observation 5 words:
1. Fizzy
2. Reaction
3. Mixture
4. Foam
5. Overflow
