S.H.S learning journey


Today we have been looking at New Zealand population and 100% pure New Zealand. We have three different tasks to do.  Then we had to watch a video about Auckland then we wrote down 5 things in Auckland that we would like to do. We got different links to help us with the facts and the flag creating. We had to use the links to help us find facts and make a flag
Activity 1
  • In New Zealand out of the 4.4 million New Zealanders also known as Kiwis, about 69% are European descent,14.6% are indigenous Maori, 9.2% are Asians and 6.9 non Maori Pacific Islanders.
  • Over three quarters of the population live in North Island and one third of the total population is living in Auckland.
  • The other main cities are wellington, Christchurch and Hamilton are where the majority of the remaining Kiwis dwell.
